The Email Filter helps protect
your email address from junk email.
The Email Filter uses advanced
technology to identify approximately
98% of all incoming junk email
messages, then lets you choose how
to handle them. You can tag junk
email messages, hold them
temporarily in the Webmail junk
folder, delete them, or you can turn
the Email Filter off entirely.
How it works...
Email Clients have
4 Email Filter Options to choose
from...
This is the
default setting. All email
messages will be delivered to your
email address unfiltered.
The subject
line of suspected Junk Email
messages will begin with
"[Suspected Junk Email]".
To see instructions for using
message rules to manage junk
email, please select your email
program from the following list:

Outlook 2002 (Office XP)

Outlook Express 5/6 for Windows

Hold Suspected Junk Email
Suspected
Junk Email messages will be held
in a "Junk" Webmail folder for 7
days.

Delete Suspected Junk
Email
Suspected
Junk Email messages will be
deleted. You will not be able to
review deleted messages.
How to activate an
Email Filter Option...
-Login to your Web email account at
http://mail.commstream.net
-Click on the "Options" tab, then on
the "Filters & Webspace" button.
-From the pull down menu, select the
Email Filter Option you want for
your email account.
-The system takes a few minutes to
activate the option then replies
with a confirmation email .
